Richard Daigle has been a contributing member to the Irrigation Industry for over 1977 to Now.
His background reflects a diverse amount of experience and education.
He owned and operated a Landscape Maintenance company and Nursery from 1977-1981.
He owned a Nursery from 1982-1983.
From 1984- Now he owned and operated https://basicirrigationparts.com/ and a service division called Precision Controls.
He owned Val Con Valve Company from 1999-2022 .
The goal was to restore and manufacture the prominent valve that has been used by Cal Trans, private universities, and amusement parks nationwide since 1942. Champion Irrigation purchased Val Con in 2009.
He continues to support Val Con through https://daigleandassociates.net/ , which has been representing several other lines in the Irrigation Industry since 1988.
This background gives him the knowledge and experience for teaching today.
In 2001 Richard Daigle had a dream and a goal to start an educational program to teach basic irrigation concepts to all service providers and technicians in the field.
https://www.irrigatortech.com/ was established with a Basic Certification course that taught beginning irrigation courses with elementary techniques and practices.
These Basic classes provide a very “hands on” approach.
This has since grown to offering a full range and scope of classes. Irrigator Tech offers classes with certification in areas that include Back Flow,
Irrigation Auditor, Irrigation Repair, Irrigation Installer, and Pond Technician.
These classes are offered to cities, schools, government agencies, business owners, property managers, municipalities, and maintenance companies. His mission is to assist all “irrigators” in achieving their goals with a better understanding and knowledge of the industry and raise their individual level of performance.
Richard Daigle has served on the board of the CLCA (California Landscape Contractors Association) since 2005 as the Education Director and from 2008-2017 as President of the Inland Empire Chapter.
He founded the GreenIndustryHallofFame.Org in 2005 and the Association of Latino Landscape Professionals Allpro.org in 2010.

Marcie Daigle has served the Green Industry since 1988 .
Her beginnings started with Co-Owning https://basicirrigationparts.com/ and https://daigleandassociates.net/ https://allpro.org/ https://greenindustrynews.org/ https://sewwhatembroidery.com/with her husband Richard Daigle.
She has worked and grown both companies over the past 40 years.
In 2001 she Co- Created, developed and started a training school for the green industry called https://www.irrigatortech.com/“ Irrigator Tech”.
She has hands on involvement with the company for over 10,000 students and provided an educational map and support system to growing professionalism in the green industry.
Students are certified and able to continue on for job advancements and financial reward.
In 2003 she began supporting her husband’s dream to acknowledge and honor those individuals who have given to our industry and made a difference to better our profession.
The Green Industry Hall of Fame was created and started at their local tradeshow in Chino, California.
